SparkActiv is a coach-led multi-sport academy designed to help children develop movement skills, sporting ability, confidence and character through fun, engaging activities. Our camps combine a wide variety of sports, games and challenges in a supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Who are the camps for?
Â
Our Summer Multi-Sport Academy is designed for children aged 8-12 years old.
Â
Children do not need to be highly sporty or experienced. Activities are adapted to suit different abilities, and all children are encouraged, supported and challenged at an appropriate level.

• Rugby skills and games

What are the camp times?

The camp day runs from 9:00am to 3:30pm.

• 1 Day: £40
• 3 Days: £114 (£38 per day)

Do children need to attend for a full week?

No.

Parents can book individual days, multiple days or a full week depending on what works best for their family.

What should my child bring?
Â
Children should bring:
• Comfortable sports clothing
• Suitable trainers
• Packed lunch
• Plenty of water
• Weather-appropriate clothing (sun hat, waterproof jacket, etc.)

We recommend applying sun cream before arrival on warmer days.

Is lunch provided?

No.

Children should bring a packed lunch and sufficient snacks for the day.

Please avoid sending products containing nuts where possible, as some children may have allergies.

While SparkActiv will take reasonable steps to support children with medical conditions and allergies, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

Are your staff DBS checked?

Yes.

All staff working directly with children will hold appropriate DBS checks and safeguarding training in line with our safeguarding policy.

Who runs SparkActiv?

SparkActiv was founded by Andrew Moir, a qualified personal trainer and fitness business owner with over 20 years of coaching experience.

Our programmes combine professional coaching expertise with a passion for helping children build confidence, resilience and lifelong movement skills.

What happens if my child is nervous?
Â
Many children attend independently and may feel nervous initially.
Â
Our coaches are experienced in helping children settle in, make friends and feel part of the group quickly. We work hard to create a positive, welcoming and inclusive environment.

What happens if my child misbehaves?
Â
We expect all children to behave respectfully towards coaches and fellow participants.
Â
Where appropriate, behaviour issues will be managed through encouragement, clear expectations and communication with parents.
Â
In rare circumstances, if a child’s behaviour places others at risk or causes ongoing disruption that significantly impacts the experience of other children, parents may be asked to collect their child early.

What is your cancellation policy?
Â
Bookings cancelled more than 14 days before the camp start date will receive a full refund.
Â
Cancellations within 14 days of the camp start date are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances at SparkActiv’s discretion.
